Tired legs and sore feet but we had a good time! Got a giant Airbus A-380 for the ride home. Having people load into both doors of the plane was a first... fastest load time ever.
So glad the sun peeked through the clouds so we could enjoy the light coming through the stained glass. It was amazing to see the inside once the sun went down and how dark and dull it was. And the pillars were gigantic and made of different materials depending on the weight it had to hold up. It's nicknamed The Forst for a reason. It really felt like walking through giant tree trunks.
Basilica that has been under construction since 1882 (set to be completed in 2026...we were so close lol). Designed by Antoni Gaudi. The detail on the outside is unreal. We got the audio guide to hear what each sculpture and design element represented but it is way too much to type here. Final dinner of the trip. Amazing steak, your own grill top at your table, swings instead of chairs, and no crowds when you go at 7 pm. They are late eaters here 😂

Couldn't ask for a better view. Food was pretty good too! River Bistro for lunch and Hidden Coffee for dessert.
They were having a crazy discount if you booked direct through the hotel ... so we got a boomin room 👀

Took the train out from Barcelona to Figueres to see the Dali museum. I mean I thought I liked Dali before but his range and study across disciplines blew my mind 🤯 ... also yet again, make sure you have a confirmed ride back to the train station. Had to hoof it again when we couldn't get a cab (again)
Long train ride from Seville to Barcelona (with a connection in Madrid). A full day on trains so snacks are a must. Top speeds close to 200 mph
